W tym raz w zupełnie nowym wykonaniu Gusa Dappertona. Pumped Up Kicks to utwór, który nigdy nie umrze Zespół Foster The People kojarzy mi się w głównej mierze z tym jednym przebojem. Nie mogę wepchnąć ich do kategorii one-hit wonder, bo to jednak byłoby zbyt brutalne. Na koncie mają trzy albumy i ten jeden przebłysk, który wyhajpował: no i właśnie, tutaj rozpoczyna się problem. Nie powiedziałabym, że sam zespół, a faktycznie – samą piosenkę. Ja swoje, liczby oczywiście swoje, bo jak mogę w ten sposób traktować band, który robi wyświetlenia dochodzące nawet do kilkuset milionów? Ano, mogę, ponieważ nie na highlightach buduje się karierę. Tak czy inaczej, Foster The People właśnie hucznie świętują dziesięciolecie swojego debiutu – albumu Torches, z którego pochodzi przebój Pumped Up Kicks. Ekskluzywna edycja Torches X zawiera nowe wersje utworów z podstawowego krążka nagrane razem ze specjalnymi gośćmi.
